That &#8220;obsolete&#8221; Walkman may be worth more today than it cost new.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Toys in original boxes.<\/strong> Sealed or boxed toys from the 80s and 90s \u2014 building sets, action figures, die-cast cars \u2014 routinely sell for multiples of their original price.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Costume jewellery and watches.<\/strong> Even non-precious pieces from known makers have dedicated buyers. Anything gold gets valued by weight at minimum.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Vinyl, comics, and trading cards.<\/strong> Condition is everything \u2014 but even played-with collections find buyers when described honestly.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Research before you list<\/h2>\n<p>Search completed auctions for similar items to gauge real prices.
